Description
xA palm-sized carving made to be held, carried, or hung — a tactile reminder to find calm even when life feels anything but calm.
Hand-carved from natural, unpainted boxwood, this detailed piece brings two contrasting expressions together in a single face: serenity and intensity, stillness and unrest.
The carving is compact enough to rest comfortably in your hand, making it more than a decorative hanging charm. Keep it nearby as a handheld tactile piece, attach it to a bag, or choose the longer cord style for a car or personal-space ornament.
With its warm wood tone, intricate carving, and vintage-inspired character, each piece feels like a small work of art meant to be touched as much as admired.
Key Features
- Hand-Carved Natural Boxwood: Individually carved from boxwood with fine detailing, visible wood character, and a warm natural feel.
- Unpainted Wood Finish: No painted surface hides the material. The natural color and grain of the wood remain part of the piece's character.
- Made to Hold or Hang: Use it as a palm-sized handheld carving when you want something tactile in your hand, or wear it on a bag, car, or personal space as a hanging charm.
- Two Cord Options: Choose the short hand cord for carrying and handling, or the long hanging cord for a more decorative suspended style.
- Intricate Dual-Face Design: Two dramatically different expressions meet in one carving, creating a striking contrast between calm and chaos.
- Vintage-Inspired Character: The deep reddish-brown wood tone and traditional carving style give the piece an old-world, collectible appearance without relying on painted decoration.
- A Meaningful Everyday Object: Small enough to carry and substantial enough to enjoy in the hand, it works as a personal keepsake, desk object, bag charm, or thoughtful gift.
Inspiration & Symbolism
Harmony in Chaos is built around a simple idea: two very different states can exist closer together than we realize.
One side of the carving is calm and composed. The other is fierce, restless, and full of movement. Together, they represent the shifting nature of our thoughts and emotions — and the small moment in which we decide what comes next.
A single thought can move us toward patience or frustration, clarity or confusion, compassion or impulse.
Rather than representing good against evil, the carving is meant as a reminder of awareness and choice: notice the moment, recognize the direction of the mind, and return to center when you need to.
Because the piece is designed to be held as well as displayed, that symbolism becomes tactile. The carved contours, smooth wood, and compact form invite you to turn it over in your hand, feel the details, and reconnect with the present moment.
